Electronic Air Cooling Cycle Machine

The air cycling machine is used to cool onboard electronic systems or refrigeration means on flying platforms; ram air or engine fan air first enters the turbine. Air is being expanded and resulting cold air is used for electronic cooling or refrigeration. Shaft power is generated during expansion and this is used to drive the compressor. Compressor that reach nominal speed raises air pressure to ambient static pressure and help discharge working air that has completed the cooling task.
If necessary, compressor can also be driven by an electric motor. Thus, electric motor power will serve as an auxiliary driving unit by the turbine.
